Bright Spot Art Lab is officially open! I look forward to welcoming students this fall and guiding them as they develop artistic skills, explore new creative possibilities, and build confidence in their unique artistic voice.

  • Designed with homeschool families in mind, this Friday morning class gives your artist (ages 7+) a dedicated creative outlet. We'll explore painting, drawing, clay, and mixed media in a relaxed, small-group studio setting — taught by a certified art educator.

    Classes meet Fridays from 9:00–10:00 AM, running alongside our fall semester (August 28–December 11, 2026, with Thanksgiving week off) for 15 sessions total. Tuition is billed in four separate payments rather than all at once:

    • An initial payment of $150 (includes the $50 supply fee) due at registration

    • $101.66 due September 24

    • $101.66 due October 24

    • $101.68 due November 24

    Space is limited to just 6 artists, so spots are first-come, first-served!


  • Drawing

    • Students will broaden their knowledge of value, shape, and form through the use of different drawing media.

    Painting

    • Students will gain knowledge of different types of paint and how to apply basic color theory when creating.

    Sculpture

    • Students will build a 3D form and learn continue to extend their learning on color and form.
